Useful Tips For Storage
Use same size boxes for easier stacking, (All size high quality packing boxes are available in the sales office at Big Oak Self Storage). Protect furniture by wrapping them in plastic covers, taping boxes closed protects contents, label all boxes, Place boxes on pallets to prevent dampness from concrete, Drain all gas from equipment, (No combustibles allowed) Sofas, loveseats, and mattresses may be stored on end to save space, Use good quality disc lock on your storage unit, inexpensive locks rust and can be cut easily, Tables with removable legs should be disassembled to save space, Mark all boxes that have 'Fragile' contents.
